In this course, students study the historical development of human cultures. The goal of this course is to illustrate the diversity and similarities of cultures and their interaction throughout history and to show these cultural differences and similarities are relevant today. As a result of the increased rigor of the Honors course, students are required to demonstrate advanced skills in thinking logically and intuitively while exhibiting evidence of divergent and creative thinking in social science. Topics are covered more in depth in comparison to the regular course and instruction is delivered at a faster pace.
