This entry-level science course gives students an introduction to basic concepts found in earth science, biology, astronomy, physics and general scientific inquiry. Throughout the course, students will have opportunities to observe simulations, investigate ideas, and solve problems. As a result of the increased rigor of the Honors course, students are required to demonstrate advanced skills in thinking logically and intuitively while exhibiting evidence of divergentand creative thinking in mathematics. Topics arecovered more in depth in comparison to the regular courseand instruction is delivered at a faster pace.
