This course is designed to familiarize the student with the structure and function of the human body. It is a comprehensive survey course that examines each of the body systems and related pathology. Points of interest will include the 11 systems of the human body, diseases and pathology, and real-world connections to health. A highlight of the course is a field trip to the University of Rhode Island Physical Therapy Lab and viewing cadavers.
