Students extend and expand upon concepts and techniques learned in algebra and geometry including solving and graphing solutions to inequalities, equations, and systems of equations. In addition, students will learn about imaginary and complex numbers, conic sections, logarithms, functions, and operations with polynomial expressions. Graphing calculators are used to enhance the understanding of realistic applications through mathematical modeling and to aid in the investigation and study of functions, equations and inequalities.
